When it snows on Twin Eagles Bluff, the forest behind the house delivers lots of winter magic. I painted this picture at Mitch’s request – he wanted a painting to hang in our forest cabin. We rent out the cabin each summer and have called it “Santa’s Summer Cottage”, so the winter scene fit the theme. I used shades of light blue and green to keep the painting bright and cheerful. The path in this painting is part of our Enchanted Christmas Forest. Each Christmas we put up almost a kilometer of lights and Christmas displays through the forest and invite the public to enjoy a little Christmas magic over six nights.
